About the Program

Xổ số đài phát thanh miền TrungJuilliard Summer Winds is a new two-week online intensive designed specifically for advanced high school instrumentalists ages 13-18 who play flute, oboe, clarinet, horn, and bassoon. A maximum of 15 students will be selected for enrollment for each instrument.

Juilliard Summer Winds offers students live instruction in orchestral, solo, and chamber music styles, specific to each student’s instrument. Participants experience a challenging range of lessons, master classes, clinics, lectures, rehearsals, and performances led by a faculty of today’s most prominent woodwind and horn teachers and performers. Juilliard Summer Winds exposes students to the many skills, careers, and passions represented by Juilliard’s faculty and graduates and prepares them for success in college auditions and beyond.

Students will:

  • Watch/participate in master classes and clinics given by acclaimed faculty members and guests
  • Receive two private lessons with a Juilliard faculty member
  • Participate in minicourses that go in-depth on specific topics
  • Watch exclusive, live performances online by renowned faculty artists
  • Learn about the Juilliard and college admissions process
  • Learn a TON about music and their instrument
  • Have fun and make lifelong friends!

Program Dates & Fees

The 2020 Juilliard Summer Winds takes place over 10 days, Monday through Friday, on August 10-14 and August 17-21. Classes begin after 9am EDT and continue through the afternoon, with some evening programming. Online events take place at various times each day with frequent breaks. There are no weekend activities.

  • Students between ages 13 and 18 years old are eligible to apply. 
  • The tuition fee is $1,180 per student and there is a $50 application fee.
  • There is limited financial aid available, and it will be awarded on a need-based adjudication. Applications for financial aid can be completed within the program application online.

Application and Audition Requirements

  • Applications, including recorded audition, are due on July 17, 2020.
  • Accepted students will be notified by July 24, 2020.
  • Tuition is due in full by August 7, 2020.
